New England Organ Bank is the non-profit organization, designated by the federal government, responsible for the recovery of donated organs and tissues for transplant in Boston and across most of New England. Through our work last year, 719 patients on the organ waitlist received the life-saving transplants they desperately needed and over 50,000 others received life-enhancing tissue transplants. With a staff of over 190 trained professionals, NEOB coordinates donation at 160 hospitals in 6 states and offers families of the recently deceased the opportunity to donate and help others in need.
